September Favourites | prettylittlewriter

Once again, another month is over. I feel like I'm writing these every couple of weeks rather than every month as it seems to be passing so quickly!

Although September is now over and I am no longer on holiday in sunny Florida (silently crying), we now make way for my favourite month in the entire year, October.

Autumn is my favourite time of year as the leaves on the trees are turning to vibrant yellows, oranges and reds and the weather has turned cold enough to start wearing scarves, tights and boots!
Not to mention it is Halloween soon!

But before all that, I want to share with you my favourite products that I have been using throughout September.

The Bourjois Magic Nail Polish remover really is magical! Placing your nails inside the pot and placing them against the sponge inside removes your nail polish within 2 seconds; more stubborn polish may require you to wiggle your finger around the sponge a little but it is still much less hassle to use than ordinary nail polish remover.

The Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation is my current go-to foundation, when used in conjunction with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush it leaves my skin looking soft and flawless. The combination of yellow, green and mauve pigments helps target specific areas of your face allowing for the best coverage you could ask for!
I washed my Expert Face Brush the other night and it wasn't dry enough to use the next day so I had to use my fingers and my goodness! The difference the brush makes to the finished look makes me wish I'd bought it much sooner!

Marc Jacobs' Daisy Dream perfume smells angelic. With a very elegant and sophisticated scent, not to mention the adorable bottle, this perfume is perfect for any young adult who wants to branch out on their scents.

My Tangle Teezer has been my saviour as of late, due to being so much easier to pack and take around with me when I went to Florida! Much more compact than an ordinary hairbrush, the tangle teezer also makes it a lot easier to brush your hair when wet and untangling any knots you may have.

The two Mac lipsticks are Limited Edition Good Kisser and Ruby Woo, both which I've mentioned before, and I have been using them constantly. Good Kisser is my go to when I want my make up to look girly but grown up, and I use Ruby Woo when I'm going for a more sophisticated look. I'm currently loving any kind of Matte lipstick!

And lastly is a Johnston's Lambswool Tartan Scarf. I purchased this from ASOS at the beginning of September and have been wearing it constantly. It is such a gorgeous colour and perfect for Autumn!
