Review | Lush's Twilight Bath Bomb & French Kiss Bubble Bar | prettylittlewriter

Two items I thought I'd combine for a luxurious bath were the Lush Twilight Bath Bomb and A French Kiss Bubble Bar.
They both contain Lavender oil, therefore the scents complimented each other and left me in such relaxing bath water, it was truly amazing.

I would give the bath bomb a 9/10 due to the gorgeous patterns and scent it creates, and I would give the bubble bar 8/10 as the bubbles were very moisturising, however they didn't last too long.

What is your opinion on the Twilight Bath Bomb and French Kiss Bubble Bar? Have you tried them before?

Review | Lush's Big Blue Bath Bomb | prettylittlewriter

During a recent bath I decided to use Lush's Big Blue Bath Bomb.

The bomb contains Lavender oil for relaxation, lemon oil for refreshing the skin, arame seaweed and sea salt for detoxifying and exfoliating the skin.

The scent wasn't obvious, but you could smell a slight hint of the lavender oil.

The bits it leaves at the bottom of your bathtub may look scary, but they are simply seaweed, and will not harm you or your bathtub.

I would give this bath bomb a rating of 7/10 as it wasn't the most pleasing to the eye as it fizzed away, however the colour it leaves your water is gorgeous!

Have you ever used this bath bomb? If so, what are your thoughts? :)

Lush Haul | prettylittlewriter

Oh look. Another Lush haul. Whoops.
I think I went for a little bit of a theme here with lots of pink items!
I also wanted to try one of their face masks, so I thought Cosmetic Warrior would be great to try and clear my spots!

From left to right; Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask, Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt, Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar, Granny Takes a Dip Bath Bomb and Floating Flower Bath Bomb.

Fawn Storage Tins | prettylittlewriter

Whilst browsing the web for something to store my lush products and other bits and bobs in, I visited the website notonthehighstreet and found some absolutely gorgeous storage tins by a seller called Incognito.

Pretty vintage patterns with the most gorgeous looking fawn on them, I have never seen storage better than these!

For £12.99 plus a small postage fee, they really are the most wonderful purchase I've made in a while.

A Wedding Day to Remember | prettylittlewriter

For today's post, I thought I'd do something a little more personal and share with you all one of the happiest and proudest days of my life that I have experienced so far.

My lovely niece and her now husband got married!
Everything about the wedding was beautiful and perfect in every way.
Yes there were a few stressful moments, where panic set in about running out of time for make up and hair, and whether we even liked the way we looked (after all, what girl doesn't worry about that when it's an important day?), but the day as a whole couldn't have been better and celebrated with such lovely people.

So I thought I'd share with you all some of the recently acquired wedding photographs taken by the photographers hired for the day.
(Quick warning, this post is going to be fairly long!)

Getting ready was such good fun, until we realised we had half an hour left to get ready and head to the church! That was when the panicking began!
As you can see in the following pictures though, the Bride looked absolutely stunning, so the stress and panic was worth it :)

I was incredibly privileged to have been chosen as a bridesmaid. To be a big part of my niece's special day was such a lovely feeling and I couldn't have been happier for her.

We also panicked about the weather, as it looked dull and wet most of the morning, until we actually needed to head to the church, then the sky cleared up and the sun was shining!

All the boys looked super smart in their suits (how badass do they look here?!)

The ceremony was beautiful, many tears were shed, and it was with great pride and pleasure to see my gorgeous niece finally marry her prince!

The theme was carnival fun and vintage fair, which looked absolutely gorgeous indoors with all the flowers and glass jars. The carnival theme included a sweet(candy) table indoors, with some absolutely awesome fairground games outside such as test your strength, hook a duck and coconut throwing!

We all had some lovely group photographs taken, and of course, the blushing bride and groom had some more romantic ones!

The evening party was such good fun, with all the carnival games and such good company, it couldn't have been anything else. Everyone danced, laughed and had lots of fun in the kissing booth!

The newly wed couple looked incredibly gorgeous, and we ended the night with fireworks and sparklers. A perfect ending to a perfect day.
