Zoella Beauty | Tutti Fruitty | prettylittlewriter

Social media went crazy when beauty blogger and Youtube sensation Zoella announced the release of a fresh, new range to add to her Zoella Beauty products. On sale at Superdrug and FeelUnique, this new Tutti Fruitty range has a couple of entirely new products and a fresh new summer fragrance to it.

I couldn't quite afford to get my hands on all of the new products, so I chose the items that I knew I really wanted, which are the 'Scrubbing me softly' Smoothing Body Scrub & the 'Fresh Fizz' Fragranced Bath Fizzer.

I used both products whilst having a bath the other evening and the bath fizzer is absolutely delicious! Such a heavenly sweet scent which leaves your bath water soft and delicate, and the body scrub left my skin feeling super soft to the touch after use with the same scent.

Overall I am very impressed with the two products purchased, and I am very happy to have added them to my collection!

Have you bought any of the new Zoella Beauty range? What are your thoughts?

July Favourites | prettylittlewriter

August is here, which means July is over, therefore SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER.
Where has the time gone?!

I feel as if these past few months have been a complete whirlwind, the weeks have passed by so fast, and even though I am quite sad that Summer will be over soon, I am extremely ready to enter the Autumn months!
For anyone who knows me or has been following my blog since I started, you will know that Autumn, Halloween and Christmas are my favourite times of the year!

But before I start rambling on about how much I love them, I will get to the point of this blog post, the products I have been loving throughout July!

I was unsure on this product to begin with as I am not a huge fan of the coconut scent, however the aroma only has a slight hint of coconut and smells incredibly sweet. But not only do they smell delicious, the combination of the coconut water and oil turn my hair into silky smooth perfection. I have honestly never had such soft hair from simply using shampoo and conditioner; Ogx have thoroughly impressed me.
Retails at £6.99 each

The past few months I have mainly been using up my Lush shower gels from the Christmas and Valentine's range, however, I eventually ran out of those and decided to try something that my niece had recommended me. This shower cream seriously smells good enough to eat and spreading this all over your body leaves your skin feeling super soft.
Retails at £1.90

When I first saw this product advertised, I was uncertain of how truthful the reviews were. Surely something you apply for 3 minutes and rinse off in the shower cannot give you a perfect gradual and natural tan. However, I was wrong. This product is something to be incredibly impressed by. After 3 days of application, my skin had a lovely natural glow to it, and after 5 days of application, I arrived at the colour I desired to be. You may think that applying it 5 days in a row is a lot, but when you shower every day anyway, and it only takes 4 minutes (1 minute to apply, 3 minutes to wait then rinse) of your time, it truly is a god send for those who would rather not spend ages waiting for their mousse/spray tans to dry before getting dressed. There is also no worries when it comes to leaving marks on clothes or bedding, it leaves no residue!
I would truly recommend this product to anyone who wishes for a quick and easy tanning experience!
Retails at £14.50

A recent purchase, I have had my eyes on this palette for a long while and managed to get my hands on it a couple of weeks ago and I have been using it ever since. I knew from my Naked 1 palette that they were of great quality, but I absolutely love the shades within this one. My favourites to use at the moment are Burnout, Liar & Mugshot.
Retails at £37.00

In the summer months, I tend not to wear too much make up as it all comes off in the heat anyway, however I always love to have colour on my lips as it gives your skin a bit of a boost. The two I have been reaching for the past month are Brave and Morange. Brave is a nude/pink satin finish which is perfect for a more natural make up look, adding just the right amount of colour to your face. Morange is the shade I reach for when I have a tan (which is never natural as I am so pale!), so whenever I can be bothered to apply fake tan, I like to grab this gorgeous orange shade to add a pop to my make up look!
Retails at £15.50 each

Now, I always loved my colouring books as a child, and once I grew up and began to believe that colouring in pictures was a childish thing, I stopped and always thought I would not colour in pictures until I have my own child one day. However, when travelling down from my hometown back to Devon, I spotted this absolutely gorgeous adult colouring book in a service station. I had never heard of such things before, but apparently there are quite a few out there now. This caught my eye by the gorgeous patterns and lovely gold shading of the front cover, and when I flicked through it, I saw just how magical and fairytale-esque it was, so I had to have it!
I have only managed to colour a tiny owl inside the book so far, but I cannot wait to start going through it properly!
Retails at £9.95

So there you have it, the products I have been loving throughout the month of July!

Lush Haul | prettylittlewriter

I've been neglecting my blog as of late and I have decided I am going to try a lot harder to update you all with new reviews, products, hauls and my life!

So to kick of this decision, I thought I'd share with you another recent Lush haul!

You may have already seen my previous Lush haul which also included a Youtube video of the products, however I recently visited my local Lush and purchased a few more products!

1. Baked Alaska Soap.
This product was actually given to me as a free gift, and I am so glad they did! With rich scents such as Ylang Ylang Oil and Grapefruit Oil, this citric soap smells good enough to eat! A gorgeous colour and lovely moisturising texture, this soap is a must have at bath time!

2. Twilight Bath Bomb.
With a combination of Lavender Oil and Tonka Absolute, this bath bomb is great for an evening bath before bed to soothe your senses and help send you off into a peaceful sleep. Not to mention how amazing it looks once in the water! I took a short video over on my Instagram which shows the effect the glitter has on the water once release from the bomb! It truly is a beautiful sight!

3. The Christmas Hedgehog Bubble Bar.
This gentle bubble bar with amazing moisturising ingredients such as organic Shea Butter, Rose Absolute and Orange Oil, leaves your bath filled with fun bubbles and your skin silky smooth.

4. Golden Wonder Bath Bomb.
This bath bomb is a must have for any citrus scent fanatic! A combination of Sweet Orange and Lime Oils, drop this into your bath and see the surprise within!

5. The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar.
Orange Flower Absolute, Bergamot Oil and Sicilian Lemon Oil makes up this lovely festive bubble bar. Go crazy and melt the whole thing to create a huge amount of bubbles or crumble a small portion as a little treat every now and again!

6. Wizard Bubble Bar.
Tangerine Oil, Juniperberry Oil and Fennel Oil are just parts of this extravagant magician! These ingredients help energise you and are great for those times when you've slightly overindulged (Halloween!).

7. Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb.
Perfect for those devilish moments, Lord of Misrule includes Vanilla Extract, Patchouli Oil and Black Pepper Oil and fills your bath with many wonderful sights; with a red wine coloured core, it really is perfect for Halloween!

8. So White Shower Gel.
One of the most popular scents at this time of year, So White Shower Gel is the perfect fit for a princess. With the lovely scent of apples, this shower gel leaves you feeling silky smooth and smelling gorgeous after use!

9. So White Bath Bomb.
Very much the same as the shower gel, the So White Bath Bomb leaves you feeling pampered and peaceful after use. It may seem a little plain, but once you pop it into your bathwater, you get a pleasant surprise!

10. Dashing Santa Bath Bomb.
Bergamot and Mandarin Oils, this bath bomb really gets you into the Christmas spirit as you watch the little Santa dash around your bath filling the room with a lovely citric scent.

11. Sparkler Bath Bomb.
By far my favourite out of the new collection, this bath bomb spins around your water releasing explosions of colour and leaves you feeling fresh and rejuvenated. One particular ingredient of popping candy gives this bath bomb that little extra kick of excitement!

12. Candy Mountain Bubble Bar.
With the sweet scent of Rock Star Soap, this bubble bar leaves you feeling fresh and chic with bubbles that leave a pink mist in the water, which looks magical!

13. Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb.
A fusion of Lemon Oil, Jasmine Absolute and Popping Candy, this bath bomb makes bath time super fun with a gorgeous gold finish to your bath water!

14. Bubblegum Lip Scrub.
Not included in the main image, but this delicious lip scrub makes pampering yourself so much fun! Not only does this scrub taste like sweets and sugary goodness, it leaves your lips feeling silky smooth and fabulous!

Review | Nair Shower Power Cream | prettylittlewriter

I recently purchased the Nair Shower Power Hair Removal Cream in the hopes that it would be a brilliant way of removing unwanted hair and making it last longer than shaving. As I am going on holiday very soon, I don't want to be having to shave every couple of days; Disney world is going to be a very busy place and I don't have time to be worrying about it.

Infused with Argan Oil, the product claims to give you smooth and soft skin for up to 7 days after use. It comes with a small spatula in which you apply the cream with and then later remove.
I tried this product when getting a bath the other morning and put it on my underarms for the required amount of time.

Unfortunately, when removing the cream after use, the hair was not coming away. I could see the difference it had made to the hairs; they were darker and had kind of shrivelled up, however they were not being removed by the spatula like they were supposed to.
I used my nails and pulled a few out, which is when I realised that all the cream had done was make them loose, it hadn't coaxed them out like most hair removal creams are supposed to.

Now, I don't know whether this is just my underarms that do this, as I have yet to try it on my legs, however I have used other hair removal creams before and they have done the exact same but worked for my legs.
So next bathtime I will be applying to my legs in the hopes that at least it will work on those hairs and I will just have to shave my underarms when on holiday and not my legs!

Have any of you guys had any good/bad experiences with Hair Removal Cream? I would love to hear from you!
