October Wishlist | prettylittlewriter

Autumn is now upon us, and as a huge fan of this time of year, I wanted to share with you some of the items I will be purchasing for the colder months!

These first three items are available from ASOS

The first is a really cute pink fawn crop jumper. Fawns always remind me of the wintery months and Christmas, and I think it is adorable!
Next is a navy tartan scarf; I already have it's sister which is a bright red tartan, but I'd like this one too for a more subtle outfit.
The third is actually a Christmas jumper. They have it in navy here, however I think this red berry colour is much nicer for winter months and I love that it has it's own collar!

Now I'm sure by now you've noticed a theme (tartan anyone?), so yes I have a slight obsession with the Scottish favourite. The first item is from Ark, and with it being a dark tartan pattern it would go with plenty of things, such as the black blazer in the middle!
The blazer is from River Island, and I also already have the same one in grey, however this is easier to match to other items of clothing, the grey one only looks good with certain colours.
The third item here is also from River Island, a pair of navy tartan cigarette pants. These would also look great with the black blazer and a plain baggy t shirt.

And finally, something non-fashion related...

CANDLES.

Now I love candles enough as it is, but when it comes to Christmas time and the colder months, candles just help set the mood and create such a cosy atmosphere!
I always go for the Medium Jar with Yankee Candle, as I think the small jars are just too small and I find it difficult finding somewhere to put the large jars!

Now three of them are Christmas candles, Christmas Cookie, Snowflake Cookie and Christmas Eve, and they are all very sweet scented.

However I have also picked out a Halloween candle, Ghostly Treats. The scent is described as gooey toasted marshmallows that are a haunting reminder of sharing spooky tales around a Halloween bonfire.

Now Christmas Cookie is described as buttery rich, vanilla scented, holiday sugar cookies. To a lot of people that could be too sweet, but I much prefer sweet scents to the musky kind.

Snowflake Cookie is described as holiday cookies, deliciously decorated with sugary pink icing. It doesn't give an actual description of what it smells like, and I've yet to find out myself, but as it is a new addition to the Christmas collection, I have to try it!

Christmas Eve is described as Traditional Christmas scents of a warm hearth, sugared plums, and candied fruits. This I have experienced and I have to say it is absolutely lovely. Such a cosy and warm scent.

Are there any Autumn purchases you are hoping to make or have already made? :)

  1. The snowflake cookie one is similar to chrismtas cookie but I would say it isn't as sweet smelling! But it still is a sweet sugary scent! X
