Pumpkin Picking | prettylittlewriter

It's a well known fact to those of you who read my blog, that I am incredibly obsessed with all things Autumn and Halloween. So as we get ever so closer to all hallows-eve, I thought it time I grab some pumpkins ready for the festive season! I have heard many people mention pick-your-own fruit and vegetable farms, but I wasn't sure whether there were any in my local area. With the help of good 'ol Google, I discovered Darts Farm, which is actually a very popular place down here in Sunny Devon! However, I wasn't aware you could PYO here, until now!
I wasn't sure what to expect when we first arrived; I'd assumed there wouldn't be much selection left as the celebration of Halloween is becoming ever-so popular now over here in the UK. However, there were plenty to choose from, and I managed to pick some pretty impressive pumpkins!
Have you been pumpkin picking? If not, I really recommend it, it's such a fun experience, finding the diamonds in amongst the rough and just walking through fields and fields of beautiful nature. It truly is a magical, autumnal experience!

Autumn Decor 2016 | prettylittlewriter

So, I've been absent for a really long time, and for that, I apologise! However, I am finally settled down in my new place and happy with where things are going in life, so I've decided to start dedicating some time to this blog again.
I've always enjoying blogging, it is something I love, it's just hard finding the time when you work full-time and barely have time to see family and friends never mind uploading a blog post each week.
But I am back and hoping I can (AT LEAST) upload once a week with something special!

It is officially the first month of Autumn, and with that comes cosy nights in with candles and hot chocolate, darker evenings with a crisp, fresh air reminding you that it is almost time to crack out the jumpers, big coats, beanies and scarves! And not to mention the gorgeous Autumnal colours that come with this time of year!
Which leads me on to some absolutely stunning decor I have purchased to turn my bedroom into an Autumnal shrine (sorry not sorry).

I absolutely adore each and every item, and I feel incredibly festive now! I am gearing up ready for Halloween (I have been listening to my Halloween playlist on Spotify for the past week!) and I cannot wait to see the leaves turning orange and the nights getting cooler so I can wrap up warm and cosy.

Nail Polish Haul | prettylittlewriter

I recently went on a little beauty spree, and my favourite purchases were these nail polishes!

Tanya Burr released new packaging for her beauty range and some new additions to her collection, and I picked up my two favourite colours in Fairy Godmother & Duvet Day.
I also purchased four new shades of Barry M nail paint. Speedy Quick Dry in a gorgeous pastel green colour, a pastel orange Gelly Hi Shine and two Autumnal shades.

The Tanya Burr shades are absolutely gorgeous and I am currently wearing Fairy Godmother. I absolutely love that there is a reference to Disney in her range!

I have yet to try out the Barry M colours, however I am incredibly excited for it as they all look like gorgeous shades!

What do you think of these nail shades? Have you purchased any of these items? :)

Autumn Make Up Look | Gold Eyes & Berry Lips | prettylittlewriter

Lately I have been wearing one make up look in particular for the start of a new season.

As Autumn is my favourite time of year, I was ecstatic when September arrived and I knew I could start getting excited about golden, red and orange leaves, hot cocoa and Halloween.

I have tried out a few different eye shades and lip colours, however none were as thrilling to me as this combination.

Products used;

I love this look for Autumn as the eyes give a little sparkle whilst the lips give the look that dark, fruity and autumnal final touch.

Do you guys like this look? What are your favourite shades to wear during Autumn/Fall?
